Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Corporate Secretarial

Responsibilities

• To work with external company secretaries and provide in-house services in managing and administering secretarial practices and corporate secretarial requirements in compliance with the Companies Act 2016, Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 and other relevant rules and regulations.
• To prepare and attend to various corporate documents, disclosures, and statutory forms in compliance with all regulations and requirements of the relevant regulatory bodies such as Companies Commission of Malaysia, Securities Commissions and any other relevant authorities.
• To arrange and coordinate meetings of the Board, Board Committees, General Meetings, and any other meetings.
• To prepare minutes of meetings, a notice of meetings and agenda, compilation and circulation of relevant papers.
• To ensure proper maintenance of statutory records, submission of statutory returns, and compliance of statutory requirements under the Companies Act 2016.
• To provide advice on secretarial issues to internal and external parties on compliance of regulatory requirements and governance issues.
• liaison with internal and external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and/or relevant authorities, lawyers, auditors, advisers, etc.
• To assist and perform any other relevant duties as directed.

Requirements

• Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia & Chinese (spoken & written) are required
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Added advantage for applicants who possess ICSA qualification or equivalent.
• Able to provide prompt delivery of tasks and problem solving
• A good team player and able to work with minimum supervision.
